Previously, we connected OrangeHRM to Dell Identity Manager as an authoritative source. Now, we will look into how we can run the import process on schedule.

Step 1: Launch the Designer tool, then go to the Process Orchestration

Step 2: Click on “Create a new process” in the Tasks list and basic properties. For example:

Step 3: In the events tab, add a new event named “HR Feed”.

Step 4: Click the “Insert new process step” button in the toolbar.

Step 5: Connect the process node to the new process step.

Step 6: Set the process step properties.

Step 7: In the Generation tab, set Server mask = Master SQL Server

Step 8: In the Error handling tab, click “Stop on error”

Step 9: In the Parameters tab, set values for the ImportFileName and ScriptImportName parameters. Note that we left ImportFilename as a blank string because we are not importing from a file.

Step 10: In the toolbar, click “Examine process for errors” button.

Step 11: Click Compile process in the toolbar.

Step 12: If there are no compile errors, commit the changes to the database and then compile the database.

Step 13: In the Process Orchestration section, select process automation.

Step 14: Click Edit process plans.

Step 15: Click Add process plan button in the toolbar and set properties.

Step 16: Create a new activation schedule.

Step 17: Specify a condition: name=’HR Feed’.

Step 18: Commit the changes to the database.
