FAQ

Monthly Active Users (MAU) measure the number of Active Users for a calendar month. An Active User is an identity in OneLogin’s directory that performs an action in OneLogin or performs an action on a third party service which triggers an activity in OneLogin. A unique Active User is counted only once during a calendar month. For example, a user logging in to OneLogin is counted as one (1) Active User. The same user can login as many times in a month and will only be counted as one (1) Active User for the given month.
For CIAM, we bill in terms of Monthly Active Users (MAU). Since CIAM is based on “Active Users”, it is expected that the number will fluctuate every month. We therefore bill based on the average MAU for the subscription year. You will be billed with the same amount regardless of the actual Active Users per month. You can go beyond the quoted active users in a given month -- there will be no disruption to your service and it will continue to operate. In this regard, you don’t have to worry about monitoring your actual active users every month and will be paying for a fixed amount every month.

At the end of your subscription year, we will evaluate the total Active Users for the year which in your case is 600 Active Users (50 MAU x 12 months). If there are any overages, we will bill accordingly at the quoted rate. There is no refund if the actual Active Users for the subscription year is less than 600.
We bill in advance at the start of the month or start of the subscription year.
With monthly billing, you pay for your account one month at a time. With our annual prepay plan, you get a 10% discount on your account by paying for 12 months upfront.
If you are paying month-to-month, you can cancel your account anytime.

If you sign up for an annual prepay plan, there is a 30-day grace period during which you may switch to a monthly plan without penalty. After 30 days, if you wish to cancel your account before the end of your prepay period, you will not be eligible for a refund.
You can upgrade your plan per user at any time. You can downgrade your plan per user at the end of your current billing cycle.
